The modular ROTEC software provides the user with an easy-to-use, flexible and powerful tool for data acquisition, analysis, display and output.
Signals may be analysed as a function of time, angle or rotational speed. FFT methods are used when converting from the time to the frequency and order domains. The common time base of all channels ensures reliable cross-channel evaluation of signals (e.g. transmission error or torque between two speed channels) and allows for correlation of analogue signals with speed data.
The powerful ROTEC software allows for comprehensive time and spectral analyses with online display during the measurement. Immediately following the measurement, the time history data are stored on hard disk. Add-on packages are available for the basic software. An animation module relates to measurands and analyses and displays them in animations. The simulation package allows for mathematical description of specimen. Stimulations can be manual or based on acquired data. At the same time all results from simulations can be used for evaluation.
